Cut Flower Home Care

Growing cut flowers is just one part of the journey to get bouquets into your home.  We take pride in the extensive research and practices to condition your flowers during and after harvest. This ensures they have the longest vase life once they enter your home.  We ask that you follow this basic cut flower care to love your blooms as long as possible.

-Always use a clean vessel, shears, and lukewarm water.

-Keep your bouquet out of direct sunlight, in a cool location.

-Refresh water every 1-2 days using lukewarm water and flower food. I know it’s tempting, but don’t just ‘top it off’.

-Vase life varies across varieties anywhere from 5-14 days, so remove any dead or fading blooms as needed.

-Keep your flowers away from fresh fruit and veggies which can cause flowers to fade quicker.

Tip! Typically, a wilted flower means it’s not getting enough water. Recut at an angle and place in fresh, lukewarm water.
